What’s the happiest of all bliss,
Than a lover’s passionate kiss?
What’s more slower to abate,
Than the patience when a lover waits?
What tragically better fate,
Than a lover who has lost his mate?
What better bittersweet that a fall,
Drenched, drowned and drained in alcohol?
What more false than the hope,
To forget all love when a lover smokes?
What harder lesson learned,
Than that which comes in love spurned?
What more morose than a life,
Lived with love forgotten and its strife?
What’s more known than the fame,
That separation of lovers bring to their name?
